  1. this is at culzean castle, a special place for us from back in the dating days. does the diana take much more in than what you can see through the lens??? for example, when you look through the lens and the when you get your photo back is it the same thing or does it have a bit more in it???

so we are trying to plan a summer holiday right now and we are really thinking of going somewhere in europe while we can. although it is cheaper to get there than it would be from utah, it is still expensive. we really want to go to austria, but it is quite pricey. switzerland is considerably cheaper and we have been thinking of going there. we really want to get up into the hills and do a lot of hiking and walking and all that jazz. what would you recommend? places to go? all of that, any suggestions or information would really help us out.

is it really still snowing there? ick. i hope the weather starts shaping up better for you!

  2. I like the repetition in this photo. I just love being in places that have so much history. I would say that my Diana doesn't seem to line up the same as what I see in the view finder...which makes it somewhat unpredictable as to what it will look like.

Thanks, by the way, for the email, I did get it. This last week was a bit better. I at least had time to recoup from the week before. We were kind of cooped up in the house with all the snow and rain. Seriously crazy weather. But I'll take the cool weather and moisture when it comes. All too soon it will be hot and dry. The mountains were really beautiful today, the sky was so crisp and clear, and the mountains were covered in newly fallen snow. Yesterday we ran the 5k. It went really well. I'm excited to continue pushing myself to run farther and farther. There is a 10k next month up Millcreek Canyon that I would really like to try.

That is great that you guys are taking advantage of traveling while you are over there. Our friend Ben is actually in England right now. Afterwards he'll be going over to Switzerland. Sage and I are really hoping to get out there soon too. Anyhow, when we went to Switzerland we stayed in the little village of Leysin, nestled in the Alps and just above lake Geneva. It was amazing! I'll have to send you a more detailed email with more info for you. I really hope you can make it there. When would you plan on going? Can't wait to hear more.
