When we first walked into Sea World there was a flock of flamingo's hanging out on the grass. It was really cool to see them up close and personal. Flamingo's are my mom's favorite bird. BTW you should go look at the video she posted on her blog. The first day we were down there we went to the beach and saw a whale! It was freaking awesome! Seriously that is one of my life goals checked off.
ReplyDeleteSo I don't know if you heard, but my uncle Ken died last week (Kierstyns dad). It was a really tough and draining week. The thing is I know he is in a much better place.
This week I gotta catch up on my house cleaning. Exciting stuff. The weather is still acting crazy. I thought it was finally gonna get warm here, but every day is different. I guess I better enjoy it though before it is 100 + degrees outside.
We're running a 5k this weekend and the following weekend is Race for the Cure. It feels good to be running again.
what a gorgeous photo! i always remember that about your mom, her love for flamingos. I checked out that video! how amazing to see a whale. wow. and it was fun to hear your all talking about it too.
ReplyDeleteI am sorry about your uncle ken, I sent you an email when I heard ( I dont know if you got it), my dad told me about it. I hope you are feeling better now and I hope your mom is doing well. That will be nice to have her nearby for the next wee while.
hope the 5k went well, we just went for our first run of the year, it is so hard to get back into it, but I am really excited to.
