  1. this is a statue of robert burns in george square in glasgow. i took it right after burns day, hence all the flowers at the base of the statue. i like that behind him are 2 buildings. one that is a bit older in style and one not so much and not so attractive. neither of them suite Burns, but that is old meets new in these places.

I hope you are well and I do not hope that your computer is not working but I kind of hope that is the reason for lack of posts and that everything else is ok with you!

We had a great week last week, we went down to the temple and stayed with Euan's sister and her husband in Wales. The weather has been amazing over the weekend and it has been nice for both of us to have some time off.

I finished up a coloured roll that I started in Islay and we took it in yesterday. Hopefully it all turns out and there will be some new pictures up for this next week!

    Hope you are doing well!

  2. gotta love all the statues over there. do they have a lot of fountains too? that's one thing I loved about Switzerland was all the fountains. Many of them you can even drink out of. The water was so delicious! There was a Rick Steve's show on just the other day about Switzerland. I want to go back there so bad (along with everything else I want to do).

I'm glad you got a little vacation (or "holiday" as they would say over there. I love that! In fact I was talking about that just last week). I've really been wanting to go to the temple too. It is so much harder though when you got a kid.
