Logan Temple

  1. I love the Logan Temple. I really enjoyed my time up there. I took this picture up on USU campus! What a great view. I feel so lucky to have gone to school up there (and to have had 2 sisters follow me).

That's great you are reading Alice in Wonderland. Is this your first time reading it? Maebe has been watching the Disney version a lot this week. It is very different from the book but I still like watching it. I'm reading "Desert Solitaire" by Edward Abbey. I am loving it! I would really love to go back to school and get my masters degree in Natural Resource Management. If I ever find myself living up in Logan again, then I am definitely gonna go back to school.

  2. This is such a gorgeous photo! I dont want to post a new picture, I love it so much. well done

I must say, as you were saying about the goal setting and the creativity stuff in a couple of photos back, you helped me big time get into being creative and crafty when I came back from my mission!!! Really, you helped me find that side of me and now I am really trying to develop it!

It is my first time reading Alice. I just love the way it is written. I love childrens book because there is stuff a friendly relationship between the author and the reader that makes the book seem so delightful, no matter what the content.

That would be amazing to get your masters in Natural Resource Management. What would stop you from doing it in Salt Lake? Do they not have a program at the U, or would it just be tons better at Utah State???

  3. Love the picture Rachel! and I am so pleased that you are reading Mr. Abbey! If you haven't already, Wallace Stegner's "Mormon Country" (or any of Stegner's writings about the west) and Terry Tempest Williams' "Wolf Willow" are must reads in the same tone and philosophy. Stegner is one of my literary heroes!
(this recommendation is for you too, Alisa).
I sure love visiting this blog. Great stuff!!!
