Euan took this photo to finish up the first roll of film back in august. My favourite part of it is how the road curves, it shows just how much the holga bends pictures.
This week our ward is having a Burns Supper and me and 3 of my Beehives are going to be Highland Dancing at it. They used to do Highland as well, but none of us have costumes, or shoes or anything, so we are just improvising. I am really looking forward to it though.
I love the distortion on this photo. Without it, it would just be another photo of your house. So many people look for beauty in perfection, but I love to find the beauty in the inperfection. Our flaws, blurry edges, and what not is what makes us unique, individual, and simply not boring. I love that these cameras help to capture this philosophy.
Good luck with the dancing. I'm sure it will be fabulous. This week I am making a big effort to get my stuff online. I'm also throwing a baby shower for a girl in the ward. And through it all I am helping Maebe to potty train. She is doing really well. She just needs to keep getting used to it.
I'm glad that I helped to to become more creative. It's beautiful how people can touch each others lives in the simplest of ways. Well i better get to posting my photo for the week!
