View Through the Trees

  1. I like the extremes of the shading in this one. It goes from dark to light. I also love how the trees frame the view (I learned that trick in my photo class). I'm so excited that you are getting to take that course. Is it a digital photography or film photography? If it is film, do you get to learn to develop it too? I loved learning how to develop. There's something that feels so good about learning. I've found a new fire inside of me for learning from the scriptures. It's been a while since I've really felt that way, and I want to keep it burning as long as I can. I have really loved the lessons from "Gospel Principles" too. Pure Doctrine at it's best. I think it is reminding us all why we are here and what we are supposed to do. Have you felt that way? I can't remember, do you get to go to RS or are you in YW? Well you should read the lessons with Euan for FHE. Sage is in YM so he misses out too, so I want to go over the lesson with him and Maebe for FHE. Anyhow, I'm babbling. Other sort of news....I want to do "3 Days for the Cure". It is a 60 mile walk over three days. I just think it sounds like a lot of fun and a great way to support Breast Cancer stuff. I'm definitely gonna do Race for the Cure. 3 Days is held in only a few number of cities which makes it a problem. They have one in San Diego the week before Thanksgiving, so I think I could do that one (since we're supposed to be doing Thanksgiving with my family this year). Anyhow that's the newest stuff about me. Until next week...Happy Clicking.

  2. i really like this photo. i like how light the light is and how dark the dark is.
the photo class is meant to cover both digital SLR and 35mm. I am not sure if we are going to be taught about developing, I would love that though!

Funny that you made the suggestion of doing the Gospel Principles lessons for FHE because we just started this week. I do not get them on Sunday because of YWs and Euan has yet to be in for one because Bishopric duties always seem to draw him away.

I looked into doing race for the cure stuff here after my aunt passed away, but I did not find much. I am going to look again. I think that sounds fantastic and San Diego would be pretty ideal if you were going to be down that way anyway!
