  1. This was on Islay. It was such a funny looking creature and the day was so sunny and it looked so gorgeous with the sea behind him.

i think your prayers must have helped because my talk went really well today. they asked me to try to share personal experiences and really emphasized that and I shared what I never have shared before. I spoke about when Ashley was born and Nathan and the service people gave us and the love and compassion that the two of them have fueled inside of me. It is such an obvious part of my families life to everyone back home, but here, no one even knows. It was really neat and I know it was what I was supposed to share.

Euan and I have been asked to perform at the RS b-day party this week. I dont know if I told you that we did a Sufjan joy to the world for the old people's christmas party, but apparently they liked us and want us back. This time we are doing Modern Nature by Sondre Lerche. I am really excited and looking forward to it. I can't deny that so many opportunities for growth have come my way here that would not be coming my way at home!!!

  2. WOW! This shot is amazing! I LOVE LOVE LOVE IT! It seems like one of those moments when everything falls into place, and the shot comes out amazing. Good work.

I'm glad your talk went well. I wish I could have been there for it. That's great that you are studying Gospel Principles for FHE. It really is pure religion. I've really enjoyed studying the Old Testament too. I always have. There's something exciting about finding gospel truths in there. It confirms to me that this is true, and it has always been true and has always been here for us. I've been using an Institute student manual to study along with. Wow! There is so much great insight with that thing (especially with all the crazy stuff that is in the O.T. that needs clarification, I honestly don't know how other religions can study with out it!).

Sounds like you two are the "go to" people for talent displays. That is so exciting. I would love to hear you guys. It makes me so happy just thinking about it! Good luck! Keep those talents growing.
