  1. this one i took while we were camping at broadhead meadows in the unitahs. i was eager to see how the camera would react to the direct sunlight shot. euan is standing there, but it is hard to tell. i like it though.

i saw your halloween pictures up on the maebe blog and she looked so cute and grown up!
i want to see some pictures of you from halloween.
we went and saw yo la tengo on friday. i really enjoyed it minus a few songs.
and i went and saw Bright Star last night. It was really nice and beautiful to watch. I recommend that and the new Wes Anderson, Fantastic Mr. Fox. I think you will really like it.

  2. Yeah I love this shot. It's so much fun to experiment and see what happens. The sun looks awazing in it. And I love that you can kinda tell someone is standing there. It makes it surreal and dreamy (kinda like you just woke up).

Yeah Maebe was so cute for Halloween. It seriously suprises me everyday how mature she is getting. She will do something and I will ask "Where did you learn that?" It's so much fun.

We saw Yo La Tengo a couple of years ago. I felt the same way. They were good except for a few songs. We actually had to leave before they were done playing (they seriously wouldn't stop playing). They would just start to jam, and the bass player would just keep repeating the same line...It was literally driving me crazy!

I really wanna see Fantastic Mr. Fox...I don't think it's been released here yet...we just saw Where the Wild Things Are (which was lovely...we took Maebe, and she loved all the "monsters" in it). There was a preview for the Fantastic Mr. Fox. And I haven't heard of Bright Star (is it an English film?). If it comes here, I'll definitely see it. I finally saw 500 days of Summer, and I loved it! Have you seen it? I just love Joseph Gordon Levitt and Zooey Deushanel (however you spell it). Have you seen "Dear Zachary"? It is a super sad and powerful film. Not something you would watch over and over again, but I think it is something people should watch. I'll leave it at that.

Anyhow, I'll write some more after I post my pictures!

  3. We will have to look into Dear Zachary. Yes, we saw 500 days of summer when we were in Salt lake. I love zooey and adored joseph gordon leavitt in ti! have you listened to she& him? it is m. ward and zooey and i love it!

I know bright star came out in utah a few weeks before we had it here, so keep your eyes peeled and we are waiting so patiently for where the wild things are to come out here.

i have been sick with a chest cold all week and so we have not done to much. but i have revisited my love for crocheting and made euan a beanie last week and am working on one for me today. there is just something nice about creating with your hands.
