Caught in a moment

  1. I love this shot. I love catching her off guard, it makes it so much more natural and real.

So it snowed last night. It is so beautiful this morning. The trees are covered with a layer of snow...covering everything and making the world seem clean and new. It is sunny outside right now too. I love winter when it is like this...bright, clean, and you can see for miles. This is the winter that I love. Hopefully there are more days like this, and not just drab and dreary with inversion and smog.

Anyhow, this weekend we made chocolates with my cousins and aunts. We made tons of different kinds this year. I was a pro at dipping the centers (my favorites being the Oreo Truffle!) Sage's family all gets in today. I'm excited and a little nervous about how his mom and new step mom will behave...they're both great women, so I'm sure they'll be fine...his dad might be the problem. Anyhow I'm sure I'll have lots of great pictures to develop after this week is through!

    Much Love!

  2. oh wow! I love this photo so so much!
maebe is such a beautiful girl!

i am beyond jealous of the snow. everyday here is like the winter inversion in salt lake. it has just been raining, and raining and raining. i wish it would snow. but alas.

we have been eager to finish up this holga roll and take some pictures out in the fields with the sheep, but the weather keeps preventing us from doing it.

i was just called to the YW's presidency. that is the big news here. we have about 15 girls and 20-24 who come out during the week. i dont know if i ever told you that euan is in the bishopric? well, basically our life is being made busy right now with our church callings. and i teaching myself some basic embroidery right now, i shall see how it goes.

good luck with all the family and have a happy thanksgiving!(last year was great, by the way)

  3. Yeah, that stinks that the weather is crummy for you right now. I hope you can get out with the sheep soon!

It's sure does sound like you two are super busy with church callings! I can't believe Euan is in the bishopric! It sounds like you have a good number of girls though (better than at the Wilson Ward right now...I think they have 2 or 3 at most).

We just had dinner with Sage's Dad and Step Mom. That went fine. I really like his step mom. Tomorrow everyone will be coming together...we'll see how it goes from there. I'm so excited though about Zion's that I don't think anything can get me down right now.

And I agree; Thanksgiving last year was GRRRREAT!

Keep on clickin' (that's my new sign off for the blog! Hope it's not too cheesy)
