  1. Loving it! I wish I were there right now. I miss the mountains, and being in nature (which is sad considering how close I live to them). I don't get up there nearly as much as I want to. I've been reading a lot of nature books though (especially ones by Edward Abbey), and have rekindled that side of me. I'm gonna make a goal right here right now to go into the mountains this week (you can check up on me next week to make sure I do it :)).

Is this also up at Paige's cabin? Have you taken any in Scotland (and found a place to get it developed?)

Another nice thing about this is that it will chronicle our conversations with one another. Feel free to write about what's going on in your life too.

    Some random life stuff:
*Right now I'm reading "Becoming Jane" and am really enjoying it.
*Noelle and her neighbor are having a boutique in November. I'll be selling my stuff at.
*I dressed up as Karen O (from the Yeah Yeah Yeahs) for a couple of Halloween parties. It was awesome.
*Maebe is talking more than ever. She is so animated, and makes me laugh all the time.

Anyhow, that's that for this week. Can't wait to see what's in store for next weeks posting!

    Until then.....

  2. yes, it is another at paige's cabin. the holgas i have developed are but 2 rolls and not a ton of variety.
i have been taking some pictures here. we did find a place, it is more pricey than nichols
(and i have come to love them even more after interacting with this professional lab here)
and we had the develop from the negatives that we had done with nichols joe & annie's wedding pictures and there were some spots on most of the pictures. i was very dissapointed.

i am eager to finish up this roll and then try some black and white film in the city.

this is probably the best thing we could be doing to keep in touch.

*we are trying to do some fun halloween stuff
*bonfire night ( guy fawkes) is next week
*and i am trying to wrap up reading the count of monte cristo, it is amazing.
